Meet Set Paing

Set Paing is an 18 year old entrepreneur.  It was my pleasure to teach him for the past 5 weeks.  I have to brag on him a little and let you know he's a very quick learner.  

Here are some things he said about himself when we were going over our strengths and weaknesses; maybe some of you entrepreneurs can relate.  He's good at observing and arranging/managing things as a result of those observations.  He's good at listening to others, a skill you definitely need as a businessman.  As a direct result of listening to others, he's good at motivating others.  He also said he handles criticism well, something not many 18 year olds can probably say.

He has a weakness for remembering names, ah, who doesn't, right?  He can also be impatient he told me, and math is not his strong suit so his first employee will be someone to run the numbers.

He's got a great business idea!  He's going to host people around town for food tours.  I obviously told him to get linked up to a tour company.  As you can probably imagine, his target audience will be foreigners mostly.  As such, he's going to use our existing technology to make a website where people can make reservations for his food tours.  This is just another example of how our students use our technology.
